Opening information: Both bandstands have a summer programme of music. Shanklin is more active, and mainly brass band music; Ventnor has fewer dates and is usually smaller local groups

How to get there:

• On foot/by bike – Both parks are near the town centres, although as ever there are hills.
• By bus – Southern Vectis bus 3 or 6 for Ventnor; 2 or 3 for Shanklin (bus timetables)
• By car – limited on-street parking at Ventnor; very limited parking at Rylstone.

Facilities: Both parks have various amenities including seasonally opening tea rooms and toilets.
