Take a selfie with a hovercraft, or if you’re clever, buses, the ferries and a train too!
The Royal Esplanade Hotel in Ryde has a webcam on its roof which shows a view of the transport interchange and the Solent beyond. There are two benches and a bus shelter in the bottom left of the picture where you can sit and take a picture of yourself in this iconic transport scene.
Use your mobile to take a screenshot of the webcam, and that’s your selfie.
You will need to wait for the camera to come round to you, and see if you can time it right to wave at the camera! There’s a short delay, so you might need a few practice goes.
