Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary

The Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary was established back in 1987 to provide a home for unwanted donkeys and those in distress.

Visitors will find donkeys in paddocks and also in barns. Some of the animals can be petted if they approach you at the fences. The sanctuary is free entry, although you are encouraged to support its work through donations, or buy purchasing something in the gift shop or cafe, or by having a donkey grooming encounter or by adopting a donkey.
